Mushroom prop
This sculpture of Amanita muscaria uses layered, laser-cut felt skulls to represent the mushroom’s toxic nature. The base was modeled in Rhino, laser-cut from masonite, and painted with acrylics to blend into the cap’s vibrant red fabric, which was hand-cut and layered for texture.
The skulls act as a visual warning, combining symbolism with efficiency. This project highlights my skills in 3D modeling, laser-cutting, and mixed-media sculpture, and reflects my interest in storytelling through prop design.
